With last night's EastEnders revealing that Bobby Beale was behind the murder of his sister Lucy, many viewers took to Twitter to express their surprise.
Lacking anyone better to direct their anger at, a Californian girl named Bobbie Beale was on the receiving end of some very confusing tweets last night.

Having no knowledge of EastEnders or the fictional killing, Beale could only express her absolute confusion.
Why are 3 people from Scotland that I don't know, tweeting me about killing someone named Lucy...

I'm scared for my life about my last tweet

Speaking to Buzzfeed about the tweets, she said:
"I was definitely confused. I saw the BBC tweet it, and then I realised. I looked up the show and I thought, Oh, this makes sense now, but at first I was really confused because I thought it was a real-life thing and I thought Bobby Beale killed someone and I was like, ‘It’s not me.’"
Eventually embracing her new found fame, she saw the opportunity to post a selfie to her thousands of new followers.
