Italian World Cup winner Gianluigi's place in history as one of the greatest goalkeepers to ever grace the game has already been assured.
But the veteran Juventus keeper added another record to his name yesterday when he set a new Serie A clean sheet record of 974 minutes by not conceding for the first few minutes of this weekend's 4-1 win over Torino.
As he contemplated his latest achievement, he has penned a poem in his native tongue, which has been translated by Italian football expert James Horncastle:
