England coach Stuart Lancaster has not given up hope on full back Mike Brown featuring against Ireland at the Aviva on Sunday week.

In his injury update today Lancaster says Brown is in the early days of the graduated return to play protocol and will not be training this week. 

The coach added that Geoff Parling, Tom Wood and Courtney Lawes will be released back to their clubs for further assessment and treatment with a view to them resuming training with England next week.
