Brock Lesnar has been slapped with a temporary ban from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) after submitting two positive samples prior to his UFC comeback.

Lesnar beat Mark Hunt in the main event at UFC 200 and won the bout via unanimous decision, only to be informed a week later that he had failed a drugs test.

The WWE superstar, who defeated Randy Orton at the main event at SummerSlam on Sunday, was given a temporary suspension by the commission pending a full hearing. No date has been set as of yet.

The commission revealed that the former UFC heavyweight champion tested positive for estrogen blocker clomiphene and its metabolite, hydroxy-clomiphene.

Lesnar could face a two-year suspension for the violation.
