As Daithi Regan said last night, this weekend's Allianz League semi-final between Clare and Tipperary is a chance for both sides to lay down a marker with both potentially facing off in the Championship this summer.
With that in mind Clare half-back Brendan Bugler is looking to go all hurls blazing into the match.
He told Gizzy: "There's a great rivalry and a great mutual respect between both counties. In my time, Tipp have got the better of us an awful lot in a lot of the games we've played. We got the better of them last time in the league but that was the only time I've beaten Tipp in the league. It's an important game for both counties."
And despite winning the All Ireland last year, he says that none of that panel are taking their places for granted with the benefit that it keeps them on their toes.
