"We are excited and focused for this great game on Sunday and still enjoying what happened in Cardiff last Sunday. I know you didn't enjoy it, Brian, I'm sorry!"

That was former Argentina winger Diego Albanese ending with light-hearted jest as he joined Brian O'Driscoll on Off The Ball tonight to chat about Argentina's Rugby World Cup quarter-final win over Ireland and the upcoming semi-final against the Australia.

Looking back to Sunday, Albanese mused whether Ireland underestimated the nation he represented at the World Cups of 1995, 1999 and 2003.

"I don't want to sound arrogant but I think maybe you underestimated us. I don't know because for Argentina to get 17 points ahead in 15 minutes was really weird," he said, adding that he was surprised Ireland did not react tactically at half-time.

Meanwhile, Brian expects Australia to up their game from their performance against Scotland last weekend and pointed to a couple of defensive issues for Argentina.
