Gold Cup winner Bobs Worth has won the Grade 1 Lexus Chase at Leopardstown this afternoon. 

The 11/4 joint favourite, with Barry Geraghty on board, came home ahead of 7/1 shot First Lieutenant in second and 8/1 shot Rubi Ball in third. 

In a dramatic finish Bobs Worth got past Rubi Bali and First Lieutenant after the final fence with First Lieutenant leading as they cleared the last.

Sir Des Champs, the other joint favourite, fell away from the leading pack after the turn for home.

Earlier, 5/4 favourite Zaidpour won the woodiesdiy.com Christmas Hurdle. 

10/3 shot Rule The World came second.
