It looks like there is to be no resolution in hoping Billy Walsh returns to the IABA as the head coach of the High Performance Unit.
Walsh resigned from his position earlier this week and is set to take up a new job with US Boxing ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
The Wexford native has yet to sign a contract with the American body but is set to do so in the coming days after pictures were released of Walsh in Dublin Airport this morning has he prepared to travel to Colorado.

He told the Irish Independent, "I just want to get out of here, that's all. It's all done. The talking is done."
It looks like the situation has finally come to a close.
