Comedian and actor Billy Crystal was asked to say a few words about his friend Robin Williams.

He spoke about the good times he spent with his fellow comedian and the laughs they shared.

In his heartwarming and emotional tribute, Mr Crystal paid homage to the man who could be 'funny anywhere'.

'He was the greatest friend you could ever imagine...'

The tribute has not gone without some criticism though as it contains a clip that some deem to be 'racist'.

The clip is question was when Mr Williams places a scarf over his head like a hijab and says "I would like to welcome you to Iran....help me!"

Twitter users said the producers shouldn't have included this joke which they saw as 'racist' towards Iranian women.
