With last week's announcement that the new movie would be called The Force Awakens, the Internet has been celebrating all things Star Wars for days. From Wookiee mistakes to Ewok adventures, there's been plenty to digest - and this one is a real treat.

James Earl Jones, whose iconic voice is part of what made the franchise so enduring, wasn't the actor dressed in the Darth Vader costume on set. That performance was by an English actor and bodybuilder by the name of David Prowse, whose Vader sounded a lot less serious and a lot more West Country.

Scenes of the actor's delivery were included in behind-the-scenes features on one of the many DVD installments of the series, but it's been doing the rounds online all weekend. And it's well worth a watch to see the polite-sounding villain face off with Princess Leia. Check it out here:
