Barcelona have reached this season's Champions League final after securing a 5-3 aggregate win over Bayern Munich.

The Catalan giants came into tonight's semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich holding a 3-0 advantage, and did not come close to a shock defeat overall on aggregate.

Bayern made a strong start to their bid to overhaul last week's 3-0 first leg loss when they took the lead after just seven minutes after a powerful header by Medhi Benatia.

But Barca fought back to lead 2-1 at the Allianz Arena thanks to a superbly taken brace from Brazilian star Neymar.

Second half goals from Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller helped Bayern to victory on the night but it was not nearly enough to knock out Lionel Messi and co.
