Manchester City know three points are a must today if they are to have any chance of retaining their Premier League title.

The defending champions host fellow billionaire-backed rivals Chelsea and need a win just to close the gap on leaders Manchester United back to 12 points after the Reds beat QPR 2 - 0 yesterday.

That game kicks off at 1.30pm as does Newcastle against Southampton at St. James' Park. The Magpies and the Saints are both on 27 points, three points above the drop zone.

After matters in the Premier League are dealt with, attention turns to Wembley where Swansea take on Bradford in the League Cup final at 4.

Swansea start the game as heavy favourites in their ever final but League 2 Bradford have defied the odds throughout their cup campaign this season, overcoming Premier League trio Wigan, Arsenal and Aston Villa on the way to the final.
