Ross Barkley will remain an Everton player for at least the next four years.
The emerging talent has signed a new contract with his boyhood club which also reduces the prospect of an exit.
Barkley scored six league goals last season.

The 20-year-old has also established himself at international level and started England's final game at the World Cup, the 0-0 draw with Costa Rica. He also came off the bench in games against Italy and Uruguay.
