Barcelona have paid €13.5-million to the Spanish government after being charged with tax fraud.

The La Liga champions are being investigated over the summer signing of Neymar from Brazilian club Santos.

The club maintain they have not committed any tax offence, but have made the payment due to a "possible difference of interpretation" about the amount they owed.

It is not clear if the charges will now be dropped.
