Australia snapped their six game losing streak this morning as Bernard Foley inspired the Wallabies to a 23-17 victory over South Africa in Brisbane. 

Waratahs fly-half Foley started the game in the 12 jersey for Australia, with Quade Cooper in the first receiver position, and the inside centre finished the game with 18 points after an impressive performance. 

Despite falling behind to first-half tries from Warren Whitely and Johan Goosen, the Wallabies showed their mettle to bring the arrears to 14-13 at the break thanks to an Adam Coleman try. 

Momentum began to swing in the home side's favour after the restart, with Springbok lock Eben Etzbeth sent to the bin for 10 minutes before Foley scored the crucial try to give Australia their first points of the tournament.

Earlier in the morning, New Zealand made it three wins from three following a devastating second half performance against Argentina in Hamilton, winning out on a scoreline of 57-22. 

The Pumas lead for a period in the first-half thanks to a Santiago Cordero try, but Julian Savea, Ben Smith and Beauden Barrett all crossed the whitewash to give the All Blacks a 24-19 lead at half-time. 

The back-to-back world champions then turned on they style after the break, with further scores from Smith, Charlie Faumuiana, Luke Romano and two from Ryan Crotty.

It keeps New Zealand on track for a fourth southern hemisphere title in five years, while it also extends their unbeaten run to 14, which stretches back to August of last year.

The victory leaves them nine points clear of South Africa in second.
