Southampton manager Ronald Koeman insists that he will not be selling Shane Long during this transfer window.

Following the arrival of Charlie Austin at St Mary's from QPR, Long has been linked with a move to Liverpool this month.

But the Saints boss says that the Irish international will not be going anywhere.

Koeman says that he wants Austin to complement the strikers that he already has in his squad.

"We can play different systems. We played already 4-4-2 systems and Charlie can play with Pelle and Charlie can play with Shane. Shane can play with Pelle. We have a lot of options and that's what you like to have," said the Saints boss. 

In addition, the Liverpool are now being linked with a move for Shakhtar Donetsk's Alex Teixeira.
