So is Robin Van Persie interested or not interested, he came in for a scathing attack from Brian Kerr and Mark Lawrenson on TV3's coverage last night in the aftermath of Manchester United 2-0 loss to Olympiakos in the Champions league.

That United first away defeat in the last 16 since 2005 and a 6th defeat out of 12 for the team in 12 matches.

After the game the 30 year old who's scored 13 goals for the club this season came out with some interesting comments

"Our fellow players are sometimes occupying the spaces I want to play in. And when I see that it makes it difficult for me to come to those spaces as well.

"So that forces me to adjust my runs, based on the position of my fellow players. And unfortunately, they're often playing in my zones. I think that's a shame."

“He's working hard at it, and so are we," . "Sometimes we play well, but not all the time. We don't have luck on our side. It's easy to point the finger at someone, but I'm not like that. We have to do better ourselves."

Click below to hear what ex club Captain Roy Keane said on ITV , we'll also hear from Manager David Moyes and midfielder Michael Carrick.
