Ireland manager Martin O'Neill says he is pleased that Roy Keane is staying on board having ruled himself out of the running for the Celtic vacancy.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Ireland defender Ciaran Clarke will not travel with the rest of the squad to the USA.

The versatile Aston Villa defender has picked up a knee injury.

Jon Walters has a virus and will also not travel but may make his way Stateside after the Costa Rica game meaning he could face Portugal in New Jersey.
