Celtic manager Neil Lennon has defended his players following last nights 3-0 home defeat to AC Milan at Parkhead.

The frustrating thing for the Bhoys is that they did have chances but just failed to take them so the loss coupled with Ajaxs win over Barcelona means they are out.

The loss means they can't progress to either the Champions league or Europa league knock out stages.

Lennon says they had already achieved their main European aim this season.
