Novak Djokovic has beaten Stan Wawrinka over five sets to reach this year's Australian Open final.

The four-time winner will make his fifth appearance in a men's singles decider at Melbourne Park against Andy Murray on Sunday.

The Serb won 7-6, 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 at Rod Laver Arena, and said: "I was ready for a battle. We pushed each other to the limit. He's a great competitor and I wish him all the best."

Djokovic also looked forward to his clash with Murray, discussed not realising he'd won the fourth set, and reflected on his dipping energy levels during the tournament.
