Kilkenny registered their first Allianz Hurling League win of the season yesterday, after beating Tipperary in an unbelievable game at Nowlan Park.

A hat-trick apiece from Colin Fennelly and Seamus Callinan contributed to a 10 goal thriller in Kilkenny, with the home side running out winners by 5-20 to 5-14.

Newstalk's Oisin Langan caught up with some of the protagonists after that pulsating encounter.

Kilkenny manager Brian Cody was not happy to have conceded five goals but felt it was a "settling in" period for some players...

Fennelly, who contributed 3-5, felt it was hard to keep up with the topsy-turvy nature of a "crazy" game. He also explained what Cody told the team at half-time...

Tipp manager Eamon O'Shea saw it as the proverbial game of two halves but was not overly concerned by the defeat...
