Athlone Town say they hope to be able to confirm their new management team next Monday.

The club's three man selection committee are set to review the candidates this Friday before a decision is made over the weekend.

Out-going manager Roddy Collins has revealed that he has yet to speak to the club about returning to the position for next season.

Last night, a tweet from the Athlone Twitter account claimed that a new manager would be announced in the near future, while Collins was live on Off The Ball.

The club later claimed that the account had been hacked.
