Arsenal are targeting Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata as their top priority for the summer transfer window.
Arsene Wenger attempted to bring the 21 year old to The Emirates on a loan deal last year but with the striker now spending a large amount of time on the bench under Carlo Ancelloti Wenger is preparing a bid for a permanent transfer, according to The Daily Mail. It is expected that the bid would be £15m, with Real Madrid including a buy back clause in the deal.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are currently working to extend Santi Cazorla’s contract. The Spanish playmaker has two and a half years left on his £70k per week deal, but the club are keen to tie him to the club for the long term.
Manager Arsene Wenger has made a new striker his top priority this summer and will return for Real Madrid striker Morata, 21.
