Lance Armstrong has been ordered to pay out $10M (€8.8M) to the SCA Promotions company after the end of their long-standing legal dispute.

A court in Texas has ordered the disgraced former cyclist to reimburse the company that had to foot the bill for the performance bonuses he earned for winning his seven Tour de France titles while doping.

Armstrong may yet face further action as a result of the case.
