Annalise Murphy is top of the rankings in the Women's Laser Radial in Rio after six races.
She followed up her earlier Top 5 finish from her fifth race with an excellent second place in Race 6 which lifts her top of the current rankings with four races to go before the medal race.
The Irish sailor was in the Top 3 throughout her sixth race of the Games.
She finished just seven seconds behind Race 6 winner Anne-Marie Rindom of Denmark.

Race 7 and 8 are scheduled for Friday after Thursday's rest day.

In the men's race, Finn Lynch finished 27th in his sixth race of the Games to hold on to 24th place in the overall standings.
