Angelique Kerber has prevented a Williams sister Wimbledon ladies' singles final.
The Australian Open champion will face Serena Willliams in Saturday's decider after beating Venus 6-4 6-4.
Kerber has still not dropped a set all Championships as she prepares to face a six-time winner at SW19.
Speaking of Serena, she cruised into her ninth Wimbledon ladies' singles final.
The defending champion took 48 minutes to beat Russian world number 50 Elena Vesnina 6-2 6-0.
But Williams says the scoreline is deceptive.
"It's never easy out there. Every point you have to fight for so it's never easy. I can't believe I'm in the final again," she said.
