England's Andros Townsend has been ruled out of the World Cup.
The Tottenham winger is due to have an operation on damaged ankle ligaments tomorrow which will keep him out of action for 10 weeks.
Manager Roy Hodgson will name his squad for Brazil on Monday May 12th, the day after the Premier League season comes to a close.
23 players will be selected, as well as seven on standby.
Townsend made a sudden impact for the Three Lions after receiving his first call up for the September qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.
While he did not feature against those two teams, he then scored in a 4 - 1 win over Montenegro and started against Poland in October.
He has since earned a further three caps in friendlies.
