Manchester City have confirmed that Sergio Aguero is set to be out of action for a month.

The Argentine striker injured his hamstring during City's 5 - 1 win over Spurs on Wednesday.

The news means that he is likely to miss City's home games against Chelsea in the league and the FA Cup, as well as their home Champions League tie against Barcelona.

Aguero has been in scintillating form this season. The 25-year-old has scored 15 goals in 17 leagues games and has added a further ten goals in Europe and the FA Cup.
