Manchester City are considering a surprise start for Sergio Aguero in tonight's Premier League clash with Sunderland.
The Argentine striker came of the bench during the second half of Sunday's narrow defeat to Liverpool after stepping up his recovery from a month-long lay-off because of a hamstring injury.
However they will be without midfielder and top scorer Yaya Toure who is out for two weeks.
A win for City tonight would see them move to within four points of the Reds at the top of the table with a game in hand.
Also tonight, Everton welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park, with the Toffees looking to reclaim fourth spot following Arsenal's win last night over West Ham.
Both of those matches will kick-off at 7.45.
