Leinster are hopeful of facing Toulon on Sunday with a full squad at their disposal.
Brian O'Driscoll and Cian Healy were among the Leinster players who took part in a "modified" training session today as they work their way back to full fitness ahead of Sunday's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulon.
O'Driscoll suffered a blow to the neck during last Saturday's narrow win over Munster while Healy sat-out the match with an ankle injury, but head coach Matt O'Connor is hopeful that all of his squad will be able to take part in full training on Thursday.
As they prepare to visit the home of the defending champions, Leinster assistant coach Richie Murphy believes that his side can take inspiration from their impressive away record in the Heineken Cup, saying:
“The Heineken always probably brings out the best in Leinster…those challenges of trying to win big games away from home is something that we’ve got used to in the last couple of years and we’re lucky enough to be able to pull them off this year as well.
“It gives us a bit of confidence going in. We know its going to be a massive challenge and a very difficult place to go but given a chance but given a sniff we’ll be right there snapping at their heels."
