‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul topped off a very special year by fulfilling his childhood dream to play Luke Skywalker at a live table-read of the script to ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ over the weekend.
Organised by Oscar-nominated director Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air), the cast of the reading included ‘The Office’ star Rainn Wilson (Chewbacca), ‘24’ actor Dennis Haysbert (Lando Calrissian), JK Simmons played Darth Vader, while Stephen Merchant added some F-bombs to protocol droid C-3PO’s lines.
Han Solo and Princess Leia, who exchange the iconic “I love you/I know,” lines of dialogue, were played by Ellen Page and Jessica Alba.
