Pfizer are developing a pill which is going to be given to people when they first get diagnosed with Covid and according to early tests it will reduce the chances of those people being hospitalized or dying by in the range of 80% to 90%. It also looks like most of the manufacturing of this medicine will be done by Pfizer's manufacturing plant here in Ireland. Professor Paul Moynagh Head of the Department of Biology and Director of the Human Health Research Institute at NUI Maynooth to discuss this new Anti-viral medication being developed by Pfizer.
