More than 2,000 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Ireland yesterday - the first time we’ve gone above 2,000 since January 21st and as of midnight yesterday, 229 people were in hospital with Covid and 37 in ICU.

But, these figures come as the vaccination programme continues to speed ahead with 80% of the adult population fully vaccinated.

Joining Sean Defoe to discuss is CEO of the HSE Paul Reid.
