Another 36 infant remains have been recovered at Tuam — bringing the total found there to 69 since excavations began last year. 

 At the same time, a separate site is coming under renewed scrutiny.  

 Planning permission has been granted for housing on lands linked to the former Bessborough Mother and Baby Home in Cork — where women and hundreds of children are still unaccounted for.
