The High Court in Paris yesterday convicted Ian Bailey of the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier more than twenty years after her body was found near her west Cork holiday home.
The French court charged the British former journalist who lives in Ireland with voluntary homicide.
Susan Keogh is joined by Mr Bailey's solicitor, Frank Buttimer to discuss the ruling.
