In the early hours of this morning thousands of people at hundreds of locations right across the country walked from ‘Darkness into Light’ to raise money for suicide prevention and to promote positive mental health.

This year marks 10 years since the first ever Darkness Into Light event – and with around 200 thousand people taking part in 19 different countries across five continents, it has now turned into a global movement of hope.

Organised by Pieta House and supported by Electric Ireland over the past decade more than 30 million euro has been raised.

Susan took part in the Nass event in Co Kildare - around 4,000 people took part in that one alone - and she talked to some of the people taking part.
