South Sligo locals who've been boiling water for a year, say they feel forgotten about

Residents and businesses in South Sligo say they have been forgotten about by the government.

The Lough Talt catchment area, which takes in Ballymote, Tubbercurry and a large rural hinterland, have been on a boil water notice for almost a year.

The water has cryptosporidium, which can cause vomiting and diorrhea.

Planning has been turned down twice because Lough Talt is a special area of conservation. But locals want the Government to step in to find a resolution.
