The Assisted Decision-Making Capacity Act will replace the much-criticised ‘Lunacy Regulation Act’ of 1871 and the associated Wards of Court system.
The new Decision Support Service officially opens its doors to the public today and speaking to Pat this morning was The Director of the DSS, Áine Flynn.
