Gardai have received reports of two alleged 'suspicious approaches' on school children in Balbriggan.

It's claimed two women stopped a pupil and tried to convince them to get get into their car.

The issue came to light when child's school texted parents to warn them of the approaches.

It's not known if the incidents on the 11th and 17th of September in the Castleland and Tankardstown areas are linked.

Newstalk reporter, Aideen Finnegan, has been getting the reaction of Balbriggan parents.
