The Stables Birr is a Georgian Town House with 5 Fáilte Ireland approved guest rooms and a café with a homeware and ladies fashion Emporium located in the original Stables. DBBeauty & Laser also operates in the main house. Originally opened in 1977 as The Stables Restaurant, it was taken over by Donal and Caroline Boyd in 1992. They closed the restaurant in 2005 and converted it into its current format. Today we heard from Caroline Boyd who is part of the husband and wife team behind The Stable Birr spoke to Johnathan this morning.
