The Stables Birr is a Georgian Town House with 5 Fáilte Ireland approved guest rooms and a café with a homeware and ladies fashion Emporium located in the original Stables. DBBeauty & Laser also operates in the main house. Originally opened in 1977 as The Stables Restaurant, it was taken over by Donal and Caroline Boyd in 1992. They closed the restaurant in 2005 and converted it into its current format.
