Continuing our series 'Keep It Local' Pat was joined on the show this morning by Paul Murphy and he is the Phoneboxman. He restores and sells original Irish phone boxes. As a result of demand and current scarcity, he is now creating detailed replicas. The phone boxes are particularly popular with pubs, restaurants, tidy town committees. After working as an electronic security engineer for over 30 years, Paul found himself out of work. He took to tinkering with clocks in his spare time and was asked to restore a phone box. Demand for his phone box restoration grew and he has now secured his own premises. Paul tells Pat about his business this morning as part of our 'Keep It Local' series.
