340,000 students went back to class this morning. The phased reopening of schools continues with Junior and Senior Infants and Second Class returning. Leaving Cert students are also returning to the classroom.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn has asked parents to avoid congregating at the school gates.
