New research shows that almost half of eight-year-olds in less-advantaged own a smart phone in comparison to those in more middle-class areas. The data from CyberSafe Kids also show that children from lower-income backgrounds have a higher level of exposure to harm than their peers in better-off districts.

We discuss the findings with Stella O’Malley, psychotherapist and author of What Your Teen is Trying to Tell You and also Alex Cooney, CEO and co-founder of CyberSafeKids.
