We may not be getting much of a summer weather wise but for many these few months will be their first introduction to working life. Learning life skills through summer jobs and weekend work can been viewed as the keys to success in later life. But how many schoolchildren are still picking up jobs over the summer months or are they all relying on the bank of Mom and Dad? We sent our reporter Josh Crosbie to find out
