Dublin City Council CEO, Richard Shakespeare, joins Pat in studio as the council confirms it has completed a €581 million purchase of the former DIT site on Kevin Street.
The landmark deal will see a new 14-storey civic headquarters for thousands of staff and hundreds of apartments developed by the end of the decade.
