Supporting Irish businesses is vital this year, so in the lead up to Christmas Newstalk is featuring different local businesses around the country from a variety of sectors with thanks to the Local Enterprise Offices.  Pat Kenny chats with Cathy Coghlan of Celtic Tweed to hear about her business.

Celtic Tweed is a tweed clothing store based in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin that celebrates Irish fabrics.

Sales Director Cathy Coghlan tells the Pat Kenny Show the idea came about from wanting to celebrate Irish fabrics.

They specialise in men’s tweed jackets and waistcoats., and in 2014 they also launched their Celtic Lady collection.

Their clothing embraces classic tweed with a contemporary twist and use tweed and linen to achieve this along with handcrafting each pattern.
