There are calls for a ferry service to be installed to travel between Cork and Waterford. A motion has been put forward for a feasibility study to take place on a ferry link. This would form part of a travel corridor between the counties for pedestrians and cyclists. Our reporter, Josh Crosbie, made the trip by car and spoke with those who remember the old boat service.
