In 2021 Hughes's pub closed its doors for the final time. A mecca for many of the traditional music players from around Dublin City. Actor Brendan Gleeson was one of them and his latest documentary ,'Brendan Gleeson's Farewell To Hughes' he says farewell to the establishment he often played.
