The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has defended its decision to rename Mayo’s only national park. Previously known as Wild Nephin Ballycroy National Park, Ballycroy has now been dropped from the park’s official title. There has been a strong local reaction to the move. Michael Gallagher, Mayo News reporter and Ballycroy native joined Pat on the show.
