If you attempt to lower your home value to pay fewer property taxes be aware you might come under the Revenue radar. Homeowners have been warned, that the tax authorities are likely to challenge them if they deduct the undervaluing of the property.
Revenue issued over 1.4 mln letters to the homeowners with a request to self-assess their home value by November 1.
